Green Flag

Clayhall Park, along with two other green spaces within Redbridge was successful is securing Green Flag Status for the first time in 2016/17 from Keep Britain Tidy. This brings Redbridge to a total of nine green spaces with Green Flag Status, all of which will be automatically entered into the People's Choice Award for 2016.

In 2015, out of 1582 green spaces, Valentines Park was voted 6th in the country and 3rd in London in the People's Choice Award! We would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who voted and supported our parks and to ask you to get behind Clayhall Park this year and vote.

Clayhall Park provides a combination of mature gardens and outstanding views and is a well loved open space.

Opening times

The park is open from 8am to dusk throughout the year.

For more details of exact closing times please download a copy of Parks Closing Times under related pages or alternatively please check time boards at the entrance.

Weather permitting, Clayhall Park Café and Ice Cream Parlour is open 7 days a week 10.30am-7pm (earlier in winter months when the park closes at dusk).

  • 1-2 hours - £1.30
  • All day - £3

Other Park information

There is a formal rose garden, pagoda and an impressive avenue of mature horse chestnut tress.

Complete with a small maze with wheelchair access, the Rose Garden provides beautiful scenery and a relaxing escape from the rest of the park.

Clayhall Park has two adjacent play areas – one for younger children and one for older children.
