Flood and Water Management
Recent legislation from the Flood and Water Management Act 2010,
has designated Redbridge Council as a Lead Local Flood
Authority.
Our first duty was to prepare a Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment, a stock take
of flood risk within the Borough.
From April 2011 Redbridge Council has responsibility for
investigating flooding within the Borough and passing it on to the
appropriate flood risk authority for taking necessary action.
or Redbridge Council itself. The results of any investigation
will be published.
In the event of flooding, please refer to our Highways Flood Page.
