Suggest a topic for scrutiny
What is the criteria for scrutiny topic suggestions?
Topic suggestions should:
- affect a group or community of people
- be about a local service – whether it is partly or fully
provided by the Council or is a locally-provided public service,
e.g. health, police, etc
- not be an issue which has considered during
the last 12 months
- not relate to an individual service
complaint.

Does scrutiny deal with individual complaints?
Scrutiny does not deal with individual complaints. If you are
not happy with a service you have received from us, please use the
Council's complaints procedure.
Alternatively, if you have a concern about a health or social
care service which is not the subject of an individual complaint,
you can report it to the
Redbridge LINk (Local Involvement
Network). The LINK has legal powers to investigate matters
with service providers or to refer matters to Scrutiny Committees,
where necessary, for further investigation.
