Notice of Election 
Election of a Member of Parliament for the
- Ilford North and
- Ilford South Constituencies
- An election is to be held of a Member to serve in Parliament
for each of the above constituencies.
- Nomination papers may be delivered by the candidate, or his/her
proposer or seconder to the Deputy Acting Returning Officer, Queen
Victoria House, 794 Cranbrook Road, Ilford, IG6 1JS between the
hours of 10.00 a.m and 4.00 p.m on any day after the date of this
notice, but not later than 4.00 p.m on Tuesday,
the 20th day of April 2010.
- Nomination papers may be obtained at the place and times
mentioned above. The Deputy Acting Returning Officer will, at the
request of any elector prepare a nomination paper for
signature.
- If the election is contested, the poll will take place on
Thursday, the 6th day of May 2010.
- Electors and their proxies should take note that new
applications to be treated as an absent voter must reach the
Electoral Registration Officer at Queen Victoria House, 794
Cranbrook Road, Ilford, IG6 1JS by 5.00pm on
Tuesday, the 20th day of April
(at the very latest) if they are to be effective for this
election.
Requests for alterations to existing absent vote applications must
be received by 5.00pm on Tuesday, the 20th
April to the same address.
