Redbridge's Corporate Strategy 2012-14 sets out the
priorities that will drive the work of the Council over the next
two years, working with partners such as the Metropolitan Police,
NHS and
voluntary and community
sector.
The strategy also sets out the themes that will shape
how we will deliver our priorities.

We will deliver a cleaner, greener and sustainable local

We aim to use our resources in a fair and equitable way to meet
the needs of the most vulnerable people, including those in housing
need, and improve the health and well-being of residents in
Redbridge. We will do this through the provision of good
leisure facilities for all, and having a choice of information,
advice and support services that promote and sustain independent
and healthy living.
We aim to continue to promote the Borough as a business location
and ensure vibrant town centres.
We aim to make sure more people are helped to live
independently and safely.
We aim to ensure that all children perform well at all
educational stages regardless of their background or circumstances
and reduce the disparity between the best and worst performing
pupils.
- We want Redbridge to be an excellent place for children and
young people to grow up
- We want world-class outcomes and high quality services for our
children and their families
- We aim to continue to strive to minimise inequalities and to
tackle poverty.
We aim to ensure that the Council can demonstrate it provides
efficient, effective, value for money services to the people of
Redbridge.
We have developed a shared set of themes to guide the way we
work across the Council and with our partners to ensure we continue
to deliver on our priorities.
