About Freedom of Information
What can and can't I ask?
This Right to Know allows you to access a
range of recorded information held by the Council. You can ask
for:
- reports
- minutes of meetings,
- research
- emails
- images.
Information will also be available on this website and through
our
Publication Scheme.
If the information you want concerns future plans/activities,
only the information already held will be provided. The Act
does not require us to enter into correspondence
regarding future plans or provide opinions on the subject
of any request.
You cannot ask for personal information regarding another
individual and there are other exemptions which apply
to the provision of information. If we are unable
to give you the information you have asked for, we will send you a
refusal letter, and will explain why we can't provide it.
