Open Data
The idea behind open data is that information held by us (and
other government bodies) should be freely available to use and
re-mix by anyone. It’s a movement to make non-personal
data:
- open so that it can be turned into useful applications
- support transparency and accountability
- make sharing data between public sector partners more
efficient.
To this end we have developed DataShare, a web application
that makes inspecting, access to, and downloading our data
easier for everyone, including developers who may wish to use our
data in their own applications, web sites and widgets.
