Redbridge i has changed
You may have noticed some changes to Redbridge i
The aim of the new version of the site is to make it easier to
use. You can go directly from the new homepage of Redbridge i
to the most frequently used areas of the website.
'Top tasks' can be found using the new menus
on the green header of each page of the site. They include the main
tasks you have visited the site to do such as paying your council
tax, finding school term dates or looking for a planning
application.
If the service you are looking for isn’t in
one of those menus, try the ‘All Sections’ located at the right
hand end of the green menu, where a drop-down box will give you
access to other service navigation options.
Our new approach to top tasks
We have made it easier and simpler for our users to complete the
tasks they came to do. These top tasks are presented to you
as soon as you access the new green tabs on the header of the page,
which run through the site, wherever you are.
Other information that users will still rely on accessing, can
be navigated to from our landing pages.
New Dashboard feature
Provide us with your postcode and we’ll
provide you with information that is important to you, which
includes:
- Bin collection date changes
Other features for the dashboard will soon be
added as you connect You Account to the other services below.
- Local Area Committees
- Regional Planning Committees
- Bin collection date changes
More features for the dashboard will be
added later on this year, like planning applications.
Your Account
If you are a registered user of Redbridge i
you can connect with a range of council services in one place.
To register as a
user, create an account – it only takes a
couple of minutes.
Your Account includes:
- Council tax - register, pay and notify us of
changes in your circumstances
- Leisure subscription bookings
- Planning applications
- Issues you have reported to the Council.
Link your Council tax account to Redbridge i and find out:
- Your current balance
- Next payment due date
- Recent payments
- Pay online
Link your local Leisure centre to Redbridge i and you can:
- View and make bookings online
- View and sign up for classes
Planning applications
Search for
planning applications by planning reference number, street,
applicant or postcode, either near your address or all of
Redbridge. You can also find out about planning building
controls.
Recycle and Refuse
Find out your next normal rubbish collection date, and if that
date will change due to a bank holiday, see the new date for
collection. You can also see where your nearest recycling point is
and check what waste you can recycle at that site.
Problems you have reported to us
Check the progress of any issues/problems you have reported to
us or report issues to us which include:
Job applications
See the closing date of any jobs you may have applied for and
get notifications of new job opportunities.
Take a look at all the skills, learning and training
information that Work Redbridge has to offer.
