How to complete You Choose

There are four tabs in You Choose. Go through them one by one to balance your budget so the total at the top of the screen is close to £0:

  • Tab 1: Our proposals to save money - These are our proposals, which we are consulting residents about. Agree them by checking any or all of the boxes, or find alternative savings in Tab 3
  • Tab 2: Our proposals to increase income - These are our proposals for increasing income. Agree them by checking the boxes any or all the boxes, or find alternative savings in Tab 3
  • Tab 3: Other ways to save money - If you have not agreed any of our proposals in Tab 1 and Tab 2, you will have to find more savings. Use the sliders to balance the budget by getting the total close to £0 and freezing Council Tax. For more control over a service area’s budget, click ‘More detail’
  • Tab 4: Your summary - look at the impact of your budget savings before submitting a balanced budget.
