This department deals

- trees near or in school premises
- any council buildings with trees nearby.
Activities the department undertakes include pruning, felling,
planting
Trees on private property are not managed by the council.
However, the council can provide general advice and guidance on
trees and tree issues. Issues can include:
- overhanging branches
- tree safety
- blocking light.
