save hundreds of pounds a year! Follow our tips below and
start saving today.
Top tips to save energy in the home
- Switch off - turn off lights and appliances
when not needed. Remember, standby is not off -make sure to switch
off at the wall
- Use energy efficient lightbulbs - they use up
to 80% less electricity, but produce the same amount of light
- Turn down your thermostat - reducing the
temperature on your thermostat by one degree could save up to
10% on your heating bill
- Upgrade your boiler - fitting a high
efficiency condensing boiler can save you £200 per year
- Insulate - roof and cavity wall insulation is
quick to install and could save you £110 per year.
