Redbridge Green Business Awards
Please note: Redbridge
Council are running an initial pilot of the Redbridge
Green Business Awards at Hainault Business Park (HBP).
Awards are only available to businesses on Hainault Business
Park at this time.
In May 2011, an initial pilot of the Redbridge Green Business
Awards was launched at Hainault Business Park (HBP). The
awards recognise and promote businesses that are operating in an
environmentally sustainable manner. They are a clear and easy
way for local businesses to show their commitment to sustainability
to their customers.
The awards break down into three categories, Gold, Silver and
Bronze, with businesses required to show an increasing level of
action and dedication to receive the higher awards.

Businesses of all sizes can apply.
Please note: only businesses on Hainault
Business Park can apply at this time.

The awards are self-assessed and evidence will need to be
provided with your application. Simply download an Application Form
below, complete, and return to the Environment Team via:

Yes, there are free environmental services for eligible
businesses on Hainault Business Park*:
- A free environmental audit of
your workplace worth £500 - Receive a personalised
report showing how your business can save energy, save water,
reduce waste and improve fuel efficiency
- Free assistance in writing an environmental
policy
- Free environmental management
workshop- In one day, learn how to achieve ISO
14001
- Free Green ICT workshop- In one day,
discover how cloud networks can help your business and the
environment

* These services are delivered by Global
Action Plan, who, since 1997, has worked with over 1,500 businesses
and saved them £2.5 million. Part-funded by the European
Regional Development Fund (ERDF), services are free to SMEs with
fewer than 250 employees, less than £40m turnover and £34m
balance.
