Support or object to a planning application
Commenting on applications
Most applications allow a period of 21 days for comments to be
made. There are a number of ways you can let us know your support,
interest or opposition to a planning application,
Online
The fastest and most direct way to comment on a planning
application is by using the search facility within this website.
Simply find the application you are interested in and, if the 21
day consultation period is still open, there will be an
option marked "comment on application". Your comments
will then be immediately transmitted into our back office system,
and the case officer notified automatically.
Support or object to an application by commenting directly to the
application online
By email
You can email your views to us at planning.consultations@redbridge.gov.uk
. Please quote the application number (eg 1234/09) in the subject
field and make it as clear to us as possible whether you are
objecting, supporting or commenting on an application. You will be
sent an acknowledgement of your email within a few moments.
Write to us
If you wish to post your comments to us, please clearly
quote the application number (in the format 1234/09) and make it
clear to us whether you are objecting, supporting or commenting on
an application.
Remember, we must have your comments by the end of the
consultation period, this is not the same as you having posted them
