For householders looking
to extend or alter their homes, minor developments or alterations
to shopfronts we offer a free drop-in service at the One Stop Shop.
This will usually answer
questions such as "Do I need Planning
Permission?" or "Does this advert require permission?".
It is important to remember
that the work you wish to carry out may also need permission from

Redbridge offers an advanced pre-application service suited to
the type of proposal and the needs of applicants and developers who
are looking to build new housing units or more complex developments
within the Borough.
The pre-application facility offers very clear advice about
whether the authority will recommend a scheme, changes which can be
made so that a scheme can be recommended and confirmation of what
information will be needed to submit a valid application.
