The Council offers skips to both businesses and residents to
hire.
Hire a skip
Please call the Customer Contact Centre on 020 8554 5000
or person at the One Stop Shop at
Lynton House.
Prices include delivery (monday to friday), pick up and rubbish
diposal from the skip.
- £220.00 + VAT (£264.00 inc VAT) per week
- £19.10+ VAT (£22.92 inc VAT) for every additional week.
You can store it on your own property. If you want to
store it on the road then you will need to get a permit from the
Council.
Filled skip
Once the skip has been filled you will need to contact us (on
the details above) to have the contents disposed of. We
only do this on a Monday or a Friday.

Skip size
We only provide one size of skip which is seven
cubic yard. It's 11 foot long, 6 foot wide
and three foot heigh. It will fit on some driveways
(equivalent to a large estate car). Suitable for large
house and office clearouts & as a builders skip. What can i
fill it with?
You can fill your skip with most types of rubbish including
builders rubble and earth. However you cannot put any
hazardous or toxic waste. For example asbestos, chemicals and
flamible liquids. This is not an exhaustive list, however if
you are unsure as to whether something can go into your skip then
please contact us.
Looking after your skip
To ensure that your skip is looked after properly please ensure
the following:
- Do not over fill the skip
- Do not allow lose waste to escape (for example do not put paper
ontop of the skip as it may blow onto the street)
- Do not put any rubbish on the floor around the skip or on the
highway
