Green garden waste
Book your garden waste collection
Garden waste update: We are
currently experiencing high demand for garden waste collections,
and as such are unable to guarantee a collection within 10 working
days. Please ensure your waste is left in open bags that are
visible from the street and we will make every effort to collect
it as soon as possible.
From the 28 October 2011 your garden waste will be
collected via bookings
only. To book a green waste collection
please complete our form:
Christmas Tree Recycling Collection
To book a collection for your real Christmas tree, please use
the garden waste online
booking form, or call the Customer Contact Centre on 0208 554
5000. We will endeavour to collect your Christmas tree, and
any other booked garden waste within 10 working days. Your
Christmas tree will be sent off to be composted.
Christmas trees can also be taken to Chigwell Road Reuse and Recycling Centre.
Green bags out of stock
Please be advised that we are now completely out of stock of
green garden waste bags. We will be receiving more in the
spring, so please check back here in the New Year for details.

We rarely miss collections, but if we do you can
take it to the:
Preparing your garden waste for collection
- List of garden waste that
we can and cannot collect
- To make sure your bag gets back to you safely,
mark your house number on it and provide a stone nearby for your
empty sack to be replaced under.
- Please place your green bag inside the boundary
of your property nearest the street by 7am, and ensure it is in
full view from the road.
