Where can I recycle?
Most flats in Redbridge now have communal recycling points. If
you don't have recycling facilities, please call the Customer
Contact Centre on 0208 554 5000.
What can I recycle?
Flats have two types of recycling bins:
A mixed bin for your plastic bottles, tins,
cans and container glass.
A paper and cardboard bin for all your
newspapers, magazines, brochures, directories, junk mail, envelopes
(windowed and non-windowed), letters, etc. You can now also
include flattened card and cardboard in your paper bin. Your
bin will soon be updated with a sticker advertising this new
addition to the materials you can recycle.
How can I recycle?
Reusable blue bags are available on request to carry recycling
to the bins.
Please note, we are normally unable to provide facilities for
flats above shops due to collection access issues. If you live in a
property above a shop we are happy to provide you with a reusable
bag and information regarding your nearest public recycling
site.
