Disabled parking bays
Parking bays for the mobility impaired are primarily intended to
assist
disabled people who drive themselves and because of their
disability need to park as close to their property as
possible. If you would like to apply for a parking bay you
can do so here.
Before you apply
Each application has to be considered on an individual basis
taking into account the following:
- You must be a blue badge holder.
- You should own and be the driver of a vehicle or receive
the higher rate mobility allowance in which case a bay can be
considered for the partner/carer living at the same
address.
- There is no provision for off-street parking.
- The road is heavily parked making it difficult to park close to
the property.
- The provision of a bay would not have an adverse impact on
road safety or traffic conditions.
