Report a faulty pay and display machine
All of our pay and display machines are
checked regularly, and if any are found to be faulty, they are
usually repaired immediately.
If you do find a pay-and-display machine that is out of
order we advise that you either:
- buy your parking ticket from another machine in the same road
,or
- move your vehicle to the nearest bay that has a working
pay-and-display machine.
- if your have parked in a Council car park then you will need to
use the RingGo cashless
payment system.

- If you wish to report a faulty pay and display machine on
street please call the Parking
Management team on 020 8708 3636 from Monday to

Enforcement Contractor, APCOA Parking UK Ltd by
telephone 020 8708 5211 or in writing to APCOA Parking UK

- Ticket machine number.
- Location of the machine (including floor if it is in
a multi-storey car park).
- Type of fault that you are reporting.
What happens after I have reported the pay and display machine
faulty?
A Civil Enforcement Officer will visit the pay and display
machine that day and will contact the Council's contractor to
fix the machine.
The machine is then fixed at the earliest opportunity by the
contractor.
Are the current Pay and display machines being replaced?
Currently a programme is in place for the replacement of parking
meters with solar powered pay and display machines.
