Report street lighting and street furniture
Redbridge has approximately 21,500 street lights (also known as
lamp
posts or lamp
standards) and over 6,000 illuminated signs and
bollards. If you find that one of these lights are damaged,
faulty or broken then you can report it to us and we'll repair
it.
However, we are not responsible for street furniture and
signs on the following roads, then you will need to contact
Transport for London
(TfL).
- A12 (Eastern Avenue)
- A1400 (Woodford Avenue)
- A406 (Barking Relief Road)
If traffic lights are also out you will need to contact
TfL (Transport for
London).

- or, painted on the street light.
What happens next?

we usually inspect and repair it within three
working days.
