Fun for all at Wanstead Festival

Enjoy a day of music and activities in Wanstead this month
with the annual Wanstead Festival.
This year will see the return of the popular classic car show
alongside sports activities and demonstrations, children’s theatre,
workshops and a steel pan band.
The festival is funded by Area 1 Committee and takes place on
Sunday 19 September between 11am and 5pm.
Activities include a cycle circuit, DJ workshop, volleyball and
table football. There will also be an opportunity to join in
Redbridge’s bunting challenge, to complete the longest line of
festival bunting by London 2012.
Local bands will also be performing throughout the day.
The event is free to attend takes place at Christchurch Green,
High Street, Wanstead.
