Event description
Many of you will remember the previous Inspiration Festivals at
Fairlop Waters, Valentines Park and Redbridge Cycling Centre, but
this summer the fun of the Olympic and Paralympic Games comes to
you.
The Inspiration roadshow will be making appearances across the
borough from June through to August. With Opening & Closing
Ceremonies, fantastic performances and sports taster sessions, with
possible autograph signing from our selection of “Olympic”
stars.
Take part in the Inspiration Decathlon, where we will find gold,
silver and bronze winners in 10 different Games-Inspired
challenges, from hula hooping to impersonating your favourite
Olympic star – there’s something for everyone.

Ilford Town Centre Paralympics Extravaganza Festival will also
take place starting at 2pm, where you can take part in various
sports and arts activities.
Paralympics Extravaganza Festival
The Paralympics Extravaganza Festival will take place in
Ilford Town Centre on 29 August, starting at 12 noon to 7 pm, where
you can take part in Inspiration Roadshow activities, sports taster
sessions such as wheelchair basketball, Boccia, Goalball
and other sports and arts activities.
