Ilford Central Library is currently being refurbished and is closed to the public.

The York and Gloucester Rooms will re-open in mid May, but the Lending and Reference Libraries, Local Studies & Archives and the Museum will reopen in the middle of June. Please check this web page again for regular updates. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during this period.

Loan periods for Central Library customers will be extended while the library is closed and customers should select another branch as pick up point for their reservations. Books can still be renewed online or by using our telephone renewal service. All items can be returned to any other library.
