Home Borrow from a library

Redbridge Libraries are a member of the London Libraries Consortium which means that with your library card you can borrow items from any Redbridge Library and from more than 100 libraries in our partner boroughs.

You can search the library catalogue online to locate a specific item or visit your local library and ask our staff to do the search for you. The catalogue shows if the item is in stock, which library it is in and if it is available. If the item is not immediately available at your local library you can place a reservation online or you can ask our staff to do so for you.

Central Library

Reservations for items held in the Consortium are free. We will have the item(s) set aside for you at your local libary when it becomes available and let you know that you can come and collect it.

And remember, you can borrow much more than just books from Redbridge Libraries.
