Renew your books online

You can renew your books online now.  (Don't forget you will need your library card barcode number and PIN to do this).

Renew at any Redbridge library

You can take either your books or your library card to any Redbridge library for renewal. It is better to renew your items a couple of days before the due date to reduce the risk of overdue charges.

Ask to renew your books, and quote your library card barcode number. We will renew them while you wait and give you a new return date.

Have your library card barcode number ready. Listen carefully to the prompts and follow the instructions.

How many times can you renew?

You can renew items 10 times before you have to return them to a library.  Although your renewals may be limited if you have charges on your items.

Cost

Renewing books is free, however the usual charges apply for DVD and audio loans.
