Homework help clubs
Libraries are great places to help you with your homework,
and at Redbridge Libraries we have lots of information about the
topics you study at school.
Come to the library to do your homework and our staff
will explain to you how to find and borrow the books that you
need; so do not be afraid to ask!
We have a good supply of useful reference books that cannot be
borrowed but will always be at the library for you to look things
up. This way you do not have to worry if your classmates beat
you to the library and borrow all the books before you get
there.
We also offer you free access to a "virtual"
library where you can check out highly respected online
encyclopaedias. This "virtual" library opens a world of
information to you and is available from any computer, including
the library computers which are free to use. You only need your
library card to access these online resources.
And our Guide to Homework (below) includes lots of links to
websites designed to help you with your school assignments.
Homework clubs
These clubs, for 5 to 11 year
olds, are perfect to help you complete your homework. Our
staff do not offer tutoring but will show you the resources
available at the library and online for you to find all the
information you need. The clubs are free and no booking is
required.
The "virtual" library
