Redbridge Mini Games
Redbridge Mini Games is one of the largest
sporting events for primary school children in London. This year’s
event took place on Wednesday 7 March 2012 at Redbridge Sports
& Leisure Centre in partnership with the School Games
Organisers. Over 1500 primary school pupils from 43 school competed
over 7 sports (6-a-side football, mini hockey, tag rugby, high 5
netball, tri-golf, boccia & sportshall athletics).

All primary schools in the Borough were
invited to enter this sporting event and give their pupils the
opportunity to compete in many different sports, as listed
below.
Rules and guidelines
There are specific rules associated with each type of Mini Games
sport to ensure fair play and consistency.

New to this year, winning schools will
be selected to represent the London Borough of Redbridge
in all the sports apart from swimming at the London Mini Games over two dates; Spring 29
March and Summer 28 June 2012 at Crystal Palace National
Sports Stadium.
Please note that individuals are unable to enter
this event; it is the responsibility of the school's PE teacher to
enter their school using the entry form under 'Related pages'
below.
Redbridge Mini Games Swimming Gala
This years' Swimming Gala took place on Thursday 26 January 2012
at Fullwell Cross Swimming Pool. The results from
the gala will be used to select a Redbridge Squad for The
London Mini Games.
Twenty three primary schools (more than 200 swimmers)
competed in last year's event which took place over 50 metres
(two lengths of the pool) and comprised of six boys
and six girls disciplines.
