About Skyride
Sky Ride Local rides are fun, friendly and free community bike
rides that will help you get out and explore the borough or your
local area. They will be led by a British Cycling trained ride
leader who can provide support and give you a few tips, whatever
your age or ability.
Ride levels
Rides vary in levels, from beginners to more experienced
cyclists, so you can pick a level to suit your ability. So whether
you are looking to get back on your bike after a break, looking to
challenge yourself to a different route or just looking for
something to do as a family, there will be a cycle route for
you! Developed by the London Borough of Redbridge’s Smarter
Travel Team in partnership with British Cycling and Sky.
British cycling is hosting challenging and speedy bike rides
exclusively for adults and perfect for anyone looking to take their
cycling to the next level. Join this great 26 mile route as it
escapes the city and heads for the countryside. Places must
be booked in advance.

Holiday clubs for kids
We run cycling clubs for 8 to 13 year olds living in Redbridge.
Courses run over the Easter and Summer holidays, and over the
October half-term. Courses are free, but places must be
booked in advance. All courses take place at the Wanstead Leisure
