How does it work?

To hire one of our parks or open spaces, it is essential that permission is sought from the Events Team and their partners prior to your event taking place.

What types of events can I hold?

A range of events are welcomed, from sponsored walks to religious gatherings, family fun days to sports activities and music festivals. Please refer to the Do More Guide for examples of events that are due to take place across the borough.

Do I require a license?

Each application is unique and therefore it is necessary to have a clear outline of your proposed activity to determine whether a license is necessary. Will there be a fee?

Charges are applicable for certain licenses, services and for use of the grounds. Please contact the Events Team for more information.
