Redbridge offer both Cricket and Football pitches on a seasonal booking or one-off bookings at the following Parks and Recreation Grounds:

Ashton Playing Fields

  • 6 grass pitches
  • full size astro turf

Barkingside Recreation Ground

  • 2 cricket
  • 2 football pitches

Clayhall Park

  • 2 cricket
  • 3 football pitches

Goodmayes Park and Extension

  • 2 cricket
  • 9 football pitches

Forest Road Playing Fields

  • 4 football pitches

Hainault Recreation Ground

  • 9 cricket
  • 13 football pitches

Seven Kings Park

  • 3 cricket
  • 3 football pitches

South Park

  • 1 football pitch

Valentines Park

  • 1 cricket pitch

Tennis

Tennis can be played on number of courts in our parks free of charge, on a first come basis.

Anyone who wishes to book a sports pitch in Redbridge.

Please contact the sports pitch booking team and they will send you an application form.

What information does the customer need to supply?

For one off bookings for cricket and football, at least ten full days notice is required. In addition you must supply:

  • date, time and the venue of the pitch you want
  • contact details
  • is it a one off or regular pitch hire?
  • a completed application form and public liability insurance certificate
  • full payment prior to any game being played 

Seasonal bookings may require you to be put on a waiting list. If so, you will be contacted when the pitch becomes available.

Payment details

Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer, details of which will be contained in the letter that is sent out with the application form and invoice.

What happens next?

Once the payment, application form and public liability insurance certificate is returned, the booking is complete.

You can turn up and use your pitch at the agreed time.
