Goodmayes Park
Goodmayes Park is an Edwardian Park opened in 1905. It is
steeped in local history and some of the heritage can still be
found within the park such as the lake, fencing and the ornate
gates.

The park is open from 8am to dusk throughout the year.

Car parking charges
From 1 October 2011 the following car parking charges apply:
- Up to 1 hour - 70p
- 1-2 hours - £1.30
- All day - £3
Other Park information and new facilities
- New outdoor gym facility for users to participate in keeping
fit and healthy.
- The new Parkour obstacle hub, which was originally developed
in
France, is now in Goodmayes Park. The main purpose
of the non-competitive sport is to teach participants how to adapt
their movements to their environment by vaulting, rolling, running,
and jumping. It is also known as Free Running. Come and try
the Parkour Combo Wall and Agility Unit for yourselves! (Photo

- Not forgetting our beautifully landscaped sensory garden for
users to enjoy peaceful surroundings for relaxing and enjoying the
scenic views of the mature park.
- To compliment the park further, there is an extension of
playing space in Goodmayes Lane called Goodmayes Extension that is
used for organised and informal sport and some events.
