There is a new resting area in the centre of the park that
has been recently landscaped.
It has been planted with shrubs and bulbs to provide an
abundance of colour.
This area makes for a perfect setting for users wishing to relax
in highly picturesque surroundings.
The park enjoys a considerable variety of mature trees which
provide a 'vista' of colours particularly during autumn months and
will appeal to keen artists and photographers.
Elmhurst Gardens has been awarded Green Flag Status for
2010/11, a national standard for parks and open spaces in England
and Wales which recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the
country. It was also awarded the Green Flag in 2009/10.
Bowls Club
Hazel Morgan, secretary of the South Woodford Bowls Club at
Elmhurst Gardens is looking for new members to join the club. All
