Inspiration festival Redbridge celebrates the coming together of art and sport as part of London 2012 Cultural Olympiad Festival.

Inspiration Roadshow

Enjoy the fun of the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer at the Inspiration Roadshow. The roadshow will visit festivals and events around the Borough, launching in June. It will include a range of sports and arts challenges, entertainment and possibly some special Team GB appearances. Keep checking back to find out the dates of your nearest roadshow

Olympic Torch Relay

The Olympic Torch Relay comes to Redbridge on Sunday 22 July. Get up bright and early and line the streets of Redbridge from 6am to witness the historic moment when the Olympic Torch makes its way through the Borough. The theme is "Rise and Shine Redbridge" and there will be a whole range of morning activities to get you in the mood, from a mass Tai Chi session at Fairlop Waters to morning choirs and breakfast BBQs. Sponsors Coca-Cola, Samsung and Lloyds TSB will also providing activities.

Redbridge in Bloom

The Olympic countdown is gathering pace and this year’s Olympic themed Redbridge in Bloom competition, launches today to mark 100 days to go until London 2012.

Catch all the Olympic action in Ilford Town Centre

From Friday 27 July to Sunday 12 August, there will be two giant TV screens in Ilford town centre showing all the action from the Olympic Stadium. There will also be entertainment, sports activities and an international food market. Libraries will also be screening the Games where facilities are available.
