Home to a population of over two hundred and fifty thousand, the London Borough of Redbridge is situated in north east London. With its nearest neighbours including Newham and Enfield, the borough is an important part of the area.

Getting to Redbridge by public transport

The London Borough of Redbridge is easy to access by public transport. Ilford town centre, the main town in Redbridge, is one of London’s ‘Major Metropolitan Centres’ and is only 8 minutes from Stratford Regional and Stratford International on the train, and 18 minutes to London Liverpool Street.

The other major centres in the borough are well served by London Underground, with ten Central line tube stations in Redbridge:

Many London bus routes run through the borough. The 25 bus runs from Ilford town centre to Oxford Circus through key parts of East London. The 86 bus runs from Ilford town centre to Stratford town centre, home to the Olympics. Numerous other bus routes run services to other parts of the borough and neighbouring areas, including Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Newham and Tower Hamlets.

Getting to Redbridge by car

Redbridge is well served by a number of major road networks. The A12 and the A406 which meet at the Redbridge Roundabout, offering a network from Felixstow and Harwich ports to City Airport, Canary Wharf and North West London.

Charlie Brown’s Roundabout joins the M11 and the A406, providing access to the M25, Stansted Airport and Cambridge.
