An Edwardian style park. There are formal rose beds for
visitors to enjoy and plenty of seating for visitors so
they can relax while out for a long stroll.

The park is open from 8am to dusk throughout the year.

Car Parking charges
From 1 October 2011 the following car parking charges apply:
- Up to 1 hour - 70p
- 1-2 hours - £1.30
- All day - £3.00

There is still the original bandstand within
the park and offers In addition to the sports facilities
available, the skate park in the southern end of the
park is very popular among children and young adults.
There is a children’s play area on site that
is very popular at weekends with families.
The park is also very popular with dog
walkers.
