Leisure Pass
The Redbridge Leisure Pass gives you access to some of our
recreational facilities at a discount off the normal adult
price for use on Mondays to Fridays between 9 am and 5
pm.
You can also use it for day membership at Redbridge Sports and
Leisure Centre during the same hours, but at off-peak charges.
Who is the service for?
You are eligible for the Redbridge Leisure Pass if you are an
adult resident of the London Borough of Redbridge and if
you also meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Senior Citizen (male or female aged 60 years or more)
- Unemployed
- Disabled
- Full-time student aged 16 or above.
Or in receipt of one of these:
- Income Support
- Incapacity Benefit
- Housing Benefit.
The next steps
You will need to fill out an application form and take it,
together with one passport photograph, proof of address and
identification to any one of the following places:
- One Stop Shop - while you wait service
- Ashton Playing Fields
- Fullwell Cross Leisure Centre
What information you need to supply?
The identification must be one of the
following:
Senior Citizen
- Bus Pass
- Passport
- Birth Certificate
Disabled
- Blue Badge
- Letter from Benefits Agency
Incapacity Benefit
- *Current Letter of Entitlement from Benefits Agency
Unemployed
- *Current Job Seekers Letter from Job Centre
- Signing on book
Student (16+ in Full Time
Education)
- Student Union Card
- *Current Letter from College or School
Income Support
- *Current Letter of Entitlement from Benefits Agency
- Bank statement showing receipt of income support
Housing Benefit/Council Tax
Benefit
- *Current Letter of Entitlement from LBR Payments & Benefits
Service
- Council Tax Benefit
- Rent Statement

Payment details
The leisure pass is free.
What happens next?
Your Redbridge Leisure Pass will be
sent to you within 10 days. However, if you take your application
to the One Stop Shop, it will be processed while you wait providing
you are able to produce all the necessary ID.
Leisure passes are renewable every 6
months except for Senior Citizens or those with a permanent
disability who are eligible for a pass for life as long as they
reside in the borough.
