Art at Valentines Mansion
The refurbishment of Valentines Mansion created six
new studio spaces for artists.
The fully accessible studios are on the top floor of the
mansion, with wonderful views across the gardens, parkland and out
towards the city.

Arts Commission at Valentines Mansion
Phenomena is a site specific project that merges Architecture,
Dance, Film and Visual Art which reveals the memory of the
movements of previous Mansion inhabitants. The project explores the
relationship between the body and the architectural landscape,
questioning memories and the sense of belonging.
A series of screenings will be shown at Valentines Mansion
between February and March as part of the project, which will
culminate in an exhibition from May to August.
Dovecote Gallery
The Dovecote Gallery at Valentines Mansion is a public funded
gallery established in 2009 promoting the work of emerging visual
and multi-media artists.

items created by our Studio Artists, along with some specially
designed limited edition mugs and cushions by
award-winning design collective, Timorous Beasties.
The mansion gift shop is open on all public
open days.
