If you want an exciting, challenging and unique work

Most Games time roles will be carried out from 27 July to 12
August (Olympic Games) and 29 August to 9 September (Paralympic
Games).
All jobs pay at least London living wage.

Catering/Hospitality
14 million meals, 40 locations, 24-hour availability. Catering
doesn't get much bigger than an Olympic Games and is recognised as
being the 'largest peace-time catering operation in the world.'
With so many diverse customers, and 24-hour availability, you
will need to work hard as part of a large team. You will also
need to be flexible: preparing food and serving diners one
moment, and clearing tables and washing dishers the next.
Skills preferred:
- Good customer service
- Good English Communication Skills
- Enthusiasm for the role
Cleaning and Housekeeping
Venue cleaners and housekeepers play an important role in making
sure venues are ready for spectators, visitors have a positive
experience and athletes can focus on their most important job -
competing for gold.
Many positions are based in iconic venues on the Olympic Park
and others will be working at the Athletes Village. You will need
to work accurately and quickly while under pressure to get the job
done on time.
Skills preferred:
- Good customer service
- Cleaning experience
- Passion and enthusiasm
Retail
The London 2012 merchandise programme is a key channel through
which the general public will participate in the London 2012
Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The work is high pressured and can be challenging and you will
need to friendly and approachable at all times. Although located on
the Olympic Park, you will be inside a megastore and may see very
little sport.
Skills preferred:
- Previous retail experience
- Excellent customer service
- Good team-working and customer service skills
Security

Provider to the 2012 Games. G4S are looking for over 10,000
individuals to work during the Olympic Games.
Skills required:
- Good customer Service
- Good standard of written and verbal communication
- Eligible to work in the UK
- 5 year checkable history
- Ability to work shifts
