Emergency information line
The Emergency Planning team operate a Public information
line for our residents and businesses to gain updates on
emergencies that occur in our borough or which affect our
borough.
The advantage of calling this information line is that you
can get updates with having to wait in a queue to speak to a
member of the customer contacts centre. The recorded information
line is also available 24 hours a day and will be updated by the On
Call Officer as information becomes available for members of the
public.

Calls to 0844 phone numbers cost up to 5p a minute from
landlines at all times of day, and up to 40p per minute from mobile
phones.
Depending on your mobile network, call charges may be higher on
pay-as-you-go (PAYG) than on a pay-monthly contract.
