About us

The Scrutiny Team provides research and support to Scrutiny Committees and assists Councillors in undertaking reviews into selected topics.

Overview Committee To scrutinuse the Leader and Finance and Resources Cabinet Portfolios. To lead on pre-decision scrutiny, cross cutting scrutiny issues and policy development. To establish time-limited working groups to undertake detailed, in-depth work to consider the outcome of any working group deliberations. To review the annual budget revenue and capital budget proposals for the authority.
