Information and Heritage Service
About us
The local studies and archives service is based on
the second floor of Ilford Central Library.
We provide a service for local and family history research.
It holds the largest collection of materials in the Borough on the
history of Ilford, Wanstead, Woodford and Redbridge.
Do I need an appointment?
No appointment is necessary for Local Studies, please drop in
any time. However, to retrieve items from archives
storage requires advance notice.
