Home Naming Ceremonies

A Naming Ceremony is a very special and non religious way of celebrating the birth of a new baby or welcoming adopted or step children into the family.

Who can have a naming ceremony

Children of any age can have a Naming Ceremony and you may wish to include older children as well as your new child. The ceremony will be conducted by a celebrant registrar.

Where the naming ceremony can be held and fees

The Naming Ceremony can be held in the Valentine Suite at Redbridge Register Office or at any of our approved venues in Redbridge.

The fee is as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday is £130
  • Fridays £170
  • Saturdays £230.

A £30 non refundable booking fee is included within these amounts.

The fee for a celebrant registrar to attend is:

  • Monday to Friday is £200
  • Saturday £250
  • Sunday/Bank Holiday £300.
