Do you have the right to get married in the UK?
Before you get married in the UK we need to establish that
you have the right to do so.
You can marry in the UK if:
- you are a European Union National. For example you come
from the UK, France, Poland, etc or other countries that are within
the European Union (EU).
- one or both of you is a non European Union national, you will
need to produce proof of nationality, usually a valid
passport. Please contact the Register Office for
