You can have a Marriage, Civil Partnership, Renewal of Vows and a Naming ceremony in Queen Victoria House.

All ceremonies can take place in our Valentines Suite which holds up to fifty people.

Marriage and Civil Partnership ceremonies only can also take place in our Cranbook Suite which holds up to ten people.

How long is the ceremony?

The ceremony length depends on what is involved in the ceremony. For example, if you want to include the exchanging of rings during a marriage or civil partnership, then this will take longer. The maximum amount of time in which you can book for is 30 minutes. Sorry, you cannot have the room for any longer!

Payment details

The Registrar fee for ceremonies taking place in the Cranbrook Suite are payable on the day. Please note this room is not available for Naming Ceremonies and Renewal of Vows.

Payment for ceremonies taking place in the Valentines Suite will need to be made in advance and you will be given information regarding this at time of booking your ceremony.

The fee for marriages and civil partnerships includes one copy of the Marriage/Civil Partnership Certificate which will be issued to you after the ceremony.

There is also a fee of £30.00 applied to every booking made for an event in the Valentines Suite. This is non-refundable if the event is cancelled. The fee will be payable when a definite booking is made. A further non-refundable booking fee of £30 will also be due if the date is changed.
