Redbridge's Town Hall, a Grade 2 listed building, centrally located in Ilford - stands as an impressive Victorian landmark in the shopping precinct. Inside are two spacious halls available for hire:the Main Hall and the Lambourne Room.

The Main Hall was originally the Council Chamber when the building opened in 1901. This hall has the largest capacity of  all the venues owned and operated by us and is in regular demand for council and social activities.

It is a popular venue for wedding receptions, socials and staged events. Its central position also makes it ideal for exhibitions, mini-markets, antiques fairs and market research events.

We are pleased to announce that we can now do Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships in the Main Hall and the Lambourne Room.

  • This hall can be hired with the Lambourne Room if you require a venue with a  larger capacity.
  • The capacities listed above are based on trestle tables, if you would prefer round tables this will reduce the capacity.
  • We recommend you check capacities and view the hall before confirming your booking.  
  • Kitchen facilities are available with this hall.
