About us
Ethel Davis and Hyleford Schools amalgamated in 2005
to form Newbridge school.
The school caters for the same range of special educational
needs as before i.e. those with severe and complex learning
difficulties with associated:
- Physical difficulties
- Sensory impairments
- Medical needs
- Autistic spectrum disorders
Admissions to the school are as follows:
- Loxford Lane Campus, Early Years to the end of Key Stage
3
- Barley Lane, between 14 and 21 years of age, Key stage
4.
Pupils transfer from Loxford Lane Campus to Barley Lane Campus
at the end of Key Stage 3 and are supported to do this through a
well planned transition programme.
