Who are Families Information Direct?
Families
Information Direct (FiND) provide information and advice
for:
- parents
- grandparents
- carers
- young adults
- teenagers
- and professionals who work with children and families in
Redbridge.
What do we do and how can we help you?
We specialise in giving you information and advice on
issues that impact on family life:
- from childcare and childcare funding;
- activities for children and young people;
- family guidance on issues such as health and safety;
- information on
Children’s Centres in Redbridge;
- supporting your child's education and learning;

- we have a new service called
Informed Families which offers free support and advice to
families with children who are disabled or have a special
educational need (SEN);
- details of where to get advice and support in difficult
times and
- we can tell you about useful services run by Redbridge and
voluntary organisations.
Online Family Services Directory
This online directory aims to provide information on all
services in Redbridge for children, young people and families.
What if I can’t find the information I need on the online
directory?
- You can call our help line on 0800 587 7500.
- We will do an additional search to find the information for
you. Our philosophy is ‘If we don’t know the answer we will find
someone who does’.
Can you also send me written information?
- Yes – we have a wide range of leaflets providing
information, advice and guidance that we can send to you by
post.
- You can also pick up information from one of our information
point notice boards that are in local clinics, libraries,
children’s centres and some council offices and schools.
