Beal High School Expansion
Responses received by the
Cabinet to the consultation on the expansion of Beal High
School have been considered.
At a meeting on 4 October 2011
- Cabinet approved the council to move to the next
stage of the expansion proposal, once planning approvals from the
Mayor of London are received.
- The proposal to expand Beal High School will involve building
on some of the Green Belt development site, approval has to be
obtained from Mayor of London.
Consultation to expand Beal High School
The proposal to expand the premises of Beal High School,
Woodford Bridge Road, Ilford, IG4 5LP will create an additional 120
places beginning with the Year 7 intake in September 2013.

How to comment or object to the proposal
The publication of the statutory notice begins a four week
public representation period for comments or objections to be
made on the proposal.
All comments and objections on the proposal
must be received no later than 5 pm Thursday 5 January
2012.
