Apply to start primary school (reception) for September 2014

Applications are for children with birthdays from 1 September 2009 to 31 August 2010.

The deadline for both paper and online applications was Wednesday 15 January 2014. The online eAdmissions process for applications to primary school (reception) for September 2014 is now closed.

Late applications

If you still need to apply, you will need to complete a Common Application Form (CAF) (PDF 287.39KB)

Please check: to see if the school you are applying for requires a supplementary information form (SIF)  

Once you have completed the CAF , please send it with supporting documents showing proof of residence and a Supplementary Information Form (if required) to:

Supporting documents - proof of residency:

To determine residence, at least three current documentary proofs are required to support your application, and should include three documents from:

  • Your most recent Council Tax statement (mandatory) – or payment slip/book showing date payment made and your address
  • Rent book
  • Tenancy agreement and a copy of the Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme coverage or other deposit protection as applies to the tenancy
  • Utility bills e.g. Electricity/gas/water/landline phone (within three months old)
  • Tax credit award notice (TC602) for the current financial year 2013/14
  • UK Driving Licence.

Application results

Your results - what happens after you have applied?

Online applicants will be sent an email during the evening of 16 April 2014 with notification of a conditional offer and told to wait for a formal letter.
Accept this place via your email offer, by logging into your original eAdmissions account and confirming your acceptance by 30 April 2014. This is very important for those who applied online. View the eAdmissions page to access your account.

In Year Applications

Moving between primary schools 

If you are already in Reception or any other Primary school year (through to year 6) and wish to move to another Primary school, download and complete the In-Year application form (PDF 1.95KB)

For Ilford Jewish Primary School, you must contact the school direct and complete their own application form. Please view our waiting list page for more information.

Late application

Applicants who missed the deadline for Sept 2013 (reception) admission.

This application is for children with birthdays from 1st September 2008 to 31st August 2009. Please complete the form in the Primary admissions guidance 2013 (PDF 3.26MB) document and send to Admissions and awards. There is no online application service available for this application. Late applications will be processed after on time applications.
