Admissions to Year 7 for September 2012
If you have not yet applied and you live in the London Borough
of Redbridge you will need to complete a paper common
application form (CAF) from the
Transfer to Secondary School 2012 booklet (PDF 4.48MB)
(pages 71/72).
Please send the application form to
Transfer Admissions Team at the Lynton House Address.
Applications for years 7-13 (In-year admissions)
If your child is of secondary school age
- moving from one Redbridge secondary school to another
- moving from a secondary school outside Redbridge
- moving into the secondary school system for the first time (for
example been living abroad or home schooled)
Application form
Please complete the In-year admissions application form and
return to Secondary Admissions Team, Admissions and Awards, Lynton
House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NN.
You must be a Redbridge resident to apply through us.
11 plus selection test information
The Redbridge grammar school 11 plus selection test will
now take place on Monday 3 September 2012.
This 11 plus selection test is for children with
a date of birth on or between: 1 September 2001 and 31 August
2002.
- To sit the 11 plus selection test you will first need to
register your interest.

You will be able to register online from Thursday 17 May
2012 from 5 pm, please check this page for further
updates.
Grammar school open evenings
- The open evening for Woodford County High School will take
place on Thursday 28 June 2012 from 6 pm to 8.30 pm.
- The open evening for Ilford County High will take place on
Tuesday 26 June 2012 at 6.30 pm.
